Summer The Grandview Wedding/Deanna & Paul

The Grandview wedding overflowed with joy as we celebrated Paul and Deanna's union. Joining in their celebration captured one aspect I particularly cherish as a wedding photographer-documenting a diverse range of love stories. Paul and Deanna’s wedding beautifully exemplified this sentiment. Their celebration was a testament to the unique and heartfelt love stories that I am privileged to capture through my lens. The personalized touches, heartfelt words of wisdom, and undeniable joy during their special day underscored the richness and diversity of the love stories I am fortunate to document.

Their beautiful outdoor ceremony took place along a stone veranda overlooking the gorgeous Hudson River, with the mountains and Mid-Hudson Bridge as the backdrop. For the reception, they chose the Grand Ballroom, adorned with elegant chandeliers and large windows that framed breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

The guests were ushered into the venue's beautiful cocktail hour space when they arrived. They were delighted with welcome drinks thirty minutes before the ceremony began. The wedding day felt like a dream, with the clouds casting a soft light as the couple exchanged vows.

In their elegant outfits reflecting the venue's style, the couple went for a soft pastel color scheme, with each color symbolizing a phase in their relationship. The blush tones embodied the tender beginnings, while the lavender hues represented the blossoming romance, and the blues captured the serene moments of their journey. This thoughtful incorporation of colors added an extra layer of significance to their attire, making their wedding day not only a celebration of love but a visual narrative of their unique and beautiful story.

A series of photos captured the couple in a quiet moment on a cloudy day, with the sun’s rays gently peeking through the clouds as if blessing their union.

The couple later revealed they chose me as their photographer because I capture candid moments without messing up the day's natural flow. Capturing the warmth, laughter, and love makes me eager to work at The Grandview, ready to add to the collection of love stories against its scenic backdrop. As their photographer, capturing beautiful moments of their love story was a pleasure.
