A bit about me
Hi, I am Leo,
I am a Hudson Valley family photographer-there’s nothing you can throw at me that I can’t run with. Long before I ever picked up a camera, I was the one getting everyone to smile for group photos, wrangling cousins, and turning chaos into fun. Turns out, that’s still my job — now I just get to call it “work.”
I’m here to make sure you don’t just remember what happened, but what it meant.
What is it like to work with me?
Family photos shouldn’t be stressful.
I’m here to keep things easy and actually fun.
Every family is different, so your session should feel like you. No stiff poses, no pressure to smile at the camera the whole time. We’ll focus on hanging out, playing around, and enjoying each other. Parents tell me all the time that I’m patient, easygoing, and good at giving direction without making things feel forced — and that’s exactly the vibe I bring to every shoot.
Before we meet, I like to get to know your crew a little.
We’ll start with a quick phone call where you can share ideas — favorite spots, best time of day, what your kids love to do. Then you’ll get a short questionnaire so I can understand what moments matter most to you right now. One thing I always ask is: “What do you want to remember about your kids at this age?”
Your answers help me look for the little things you’d notice — the expressions, habits, and interactions that really show who they are.
After that, I take care of everything else.
Your only job is to show up and enjoy your family. I’ll guide you through the session, help you feel comfortable, and keep things moving in a relaxed, natural way.
And your photos won’t just sit on your phone — we’ll get your favorites printed so you can see them in your home and enjoy them every day.
Whether your kids are tiny, grown, or four-legged, this season of life deserves more than a quick iPhone photo. What started as wedding couples asking me to photograph their families has turned into one of my favorite parts of what I do.

This really comes down to what feels right for your family.
At-home sessions usually feel more relaxed — kids show me their favorite toys, their rooms, their talents… and before they know it, they’ve forgotten the camera exists. It’s a great way to capture everyone just being themselves.
Heading to a park is also a solid option, especially if your crew loves running around or exploring. We’ll still get those playful moments — and some nice backgrounds don’t hurt either.
No matter where we go, you’ll get a mix of some “everyone together” photos and plenty of natural interaction. So really, it’s all about the vibe you want.

I wish! But no — we can’t duplicate a moment that happened years ago with totally different people, weather, and energy. We can use your favorite ideas as a starting point and create something that’s just as awesome — and totally yours.

I usually take about 1 week to get your photos ready, but just so you know, most photographers take way longer! Each one is edited by me , right here in my office. I am all about giving you the best quality, which means no rushing—good things take time, right?
