Foreland

Foreland is an awesome spot for weddings in Catskill NY, a super beautiful town in the Hudson River Valley. It's right by Catskill Creek and has this modern artsy vibe with two very beautiful event spaces perfect for artsy types and anyone who's into creative stuff to get married. Inside, it's modern, while retaining and honoring its incredible architecture and history. Back in the day, like way back in the mid-1800s, it used to be a mill making uniforms for Union Soldiers during the Civil War. Crazy, right? Then it was empty for ages until someone had the brilliant idea to turn it into this cool hub for art and events, like concerts and fancy weddings. They've mixed old-school charm with modern vibes and made it super cozy. Plus, there's cool art everywhere you look. Foreland has both indoor and outdoor options for the ceremony and cocktail hour, with plenty of space for tents. The indoor wedding and reception spaces can accommodate up to 250 guests.

What I love: I love this venue because its high ceilings, charming barn vibes and a ton of sunlight pouring during the day, making any photo look cinematic. Everything from the location to the buildings and the staff is amazing. I can't recommend this wedding venue enough. It's romantic, unique, and perfect for any event. Plus, it's in the ideal spot in the Hudson Valley Catskills!

Senate Garage

The Senate Garage is in Kingston, NY. It’s picturesque and one-of-a-kind, unlike any other wedding spot I’ve seen. It has a cool vibe, mixing old-fashioned charm with a cozy and romantic feel, plus a touch of industrial flair. Unlike those cookie-cutter venues where every wedding feels the same, the Senate Garage is different. It’s more like a blank canvas where you can let your creativity run wild. If you want your event to reflect your unique style, this place is just what you need. You can customize the space however you like to make it totally your own. It's a cool place with a lot of interesting stories behind it. Originally, it was a carriage house, then it became a car shop, and now it's a popular spot for weddings.

What I love: The garden provides such a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and for beautiful pictures. The outside grounds are lush and provide a great contrast to the industrial interior. This venue is perfect with a modern touch, high ceilings, nice natural light, and cool brick walls.

Hayfield

Hayfield is located in the heart of Catskill State Park and the Catskill Mountains, at the highest elevation in New York State. The venue is surrounded by waterfalls, hiking trails, farmland, with a view of the Hunter and Windham Mountains. The barns are over 150 years, but they've been renovated in 2017. They have two barns, the English Frame Barn and Prairie Barn, one for dinning and the other for dancing. The owners kept the wooden beams, tin roof, added new bathrooms and really nice wooden floors. This venue is like a big empty space where you can bring all your own stuff to make it just the way you want. But don't worry, they do have furniture, available for an extra cost. The ceremony happens in a field, which is really nice. Then, everyone moves to the barn for the party. Hayfield only have one event each week from May to October. The venue accommodates 120 guests for a sit-down dinner and can hold up to 150 with a rented tent.

What I love: The people who work here are awesome, super nice and really easy to work with. There are plenty of epic sweeping vistas, with lush fields and trees that make a perfect backdrop for your photos. I love its whimsical and authentic feel.

Red Maple Vineyard

If you're in search of an upscale rustic venue, Red Maple Vineyard is the best choice. This family owned farm-to-table venue and vineyard is in West Park, NY. The place has got it all—they have renovated the cow barn from way back in the 1800s, some old stone foundation ruins, a spot for horses to chill, a chicken coop, big lawns, woods, vineyards, and gardens bursting with fruits, veggies, herbs, and flowers. My favorite part: They have a commitment to sustainability. They source directly from their farm or local producers, operate as a zero-food-waste facility, and contribute to various causes, including addressing food insecurity in the Hudson Valley area. The venue offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with stunning views of the Hudson Valley from its vineyard. The firepit area adds a touch of magic, complemented by delicious pizzas from their ovens. The ballroom is perfect for dancing, surrounded by glass walls that offer beautiful views of the grounds. Red Maple Vineyard excels not only in providing amazing farm-to-table food but also in offering the best-tasting wine!

What I love: The reception and cocktail areas exude warmth and personality, providing a versatile canvas for various decoration styles to match any vision. The staff is truly exceptional—warm, welcoming, and offering assistance at every step of the way. The well-maintained venue and stunning grounds, create a five-star-worthy setting for stunning pictures. Overall, Red Maple Vineyard offers an exceptional and memorable experience for any event.
