Fall Hollow Brook Golf Club Wedding/Alessandra & Jason

Alexandra and Jason chose to say “I do” at St. Francis of Assisi church, followed by a celebration at the Hollow Brook Golf Club wedding venue. The place is a peaceful and rustic retreat nestled in Cortland Manor. I was thrilled to be a part of Sarah and Mark’s special day. The Hollow Brook is a lovely place. The banquet area is reminiscent of a rustic barn and an Adirondack lodge. When fully opened, the wall of floor-to-ceiling windows gives the feel of being “outdoors.” The ballroom offers breathtaking views of the sunset and the entire golf club, providing a picturesque setting for any event.

During the wedding planning, I got to know Alessandra and Jason. She is a lively spirit with genuine kindness that makes everyone feel at ease. The groom was calm and confident, grounding the energy around him. His demeanor reflected the strength and resilience that defined his role as a firefighter, adding a unique and admirable dimension to the atmosphere of the day.

For the day of the wedding the couple picked a lovely day for their nuptial. The weather was just perfect – crisp fall air, a pleasant mix of sunshine, and a gentle breeze. The warm-colored leaves matched perfectly with the red and orange theme of the event.

Family and friends gather at the wedding reception, turning the place into a hub of celebration and good vibes. During the speeches at the wedding reception, the best man accidentally mixed up a few anecdotes from his childhood. This accidental mix up turned out to be the highlight of the speeches. Alessandra, far from being annoyed burst into laughter.

Great food and attentive service from Hollow Brook’s skilled team delighted guests throughout the wedding reception. Live music and laughter added melody to the party. As the evening wore on, guests enjoyed drinks by the fire pit on the covered terrace and continued the celebration into the night. After soaking up the magic of Alessandra and Jason’s day, I couldn’t help but yearn for more tales to unfold in this charming rustic retreat.
